Returns Policy
At Scentir – Emotion Candle, we are deeply committed to the quality of our products and customer satisfaction. Our candles are handcrafted with the utmost care and packaged to ensure they reach you in perfect condition. However, we understand that unexpected events can occur and want to ensure your shopping experience is positive.
1. Right of Return
If you have changed your mind about your purchase, you have the right to return products purchased from our online store within 14 days of receiving your order , without needing to provide a reason. This right is legally known as the Right of Withdrawal .
To exercise your right to return, you must notify us in writing by email to hello@scentircandle.com , indicating your order number. After this notification, you must return the products to us within 14 days.

Return conditions: products must be in perfect condition, with no signs of use, and in their original packaging.

Refund: once we receive and inspect the returned products, we will refund the amount paid, including delivery costs, within a maximum period of 14 days.

Return shipping costs: direct shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
We accept returns, but do not offer exchanges.
If you wish to exchange a candle or candles, you must return them (in accordance with legal terms) and make a new purchase through our online store. To help you choose the ideal scent, we recommend purchasing our Discovery Set with candle samples.
Important note:
Our candles are handcrafted and contain a high percentage of naturally derived ingredients.
For this reason, slight variations are normal, such as minor surface irregularities or subtle differences in colour, resulting from the natural essential oils, absolutes, and botanical extracts used.
2. Returns for Damaged Products or Shipping Errors
We accept returns or exchanges in the following situations:

Product Damaged in Transport: if you receive your product in poor condition (e.g.: broken ceramic container, melted wax).

Logistics Error: if you receive a different candle than the one you ordered or the order is incomplete.
In these cases, we will replace the product or issue a full refund at no additional cost.
How to proceed:

Timeframe: notify us of the issue within 7 days from the date of receipt.

Contact: please send an email to hello@scentircandle.com with your order number and clear photographs of the damaged product and the original packaging.

Analysis: once we receive your claim, we will review it and respond within 5 business days.

Outcome and Return: if the claim is approved, we will provide return instructions (if applicable) and arrange either a full refund or a replacement at no extra cost to you.
3. Recommendations
To help ensure a smooth returns process:

Keep the original packaging until you have confirmed that the products have arrived in perfect condition.

We recommend taking photographs of the packaging at the time of delivery, especially if you notice any visible damage.
4. Out of Stock
In the event of an out-of-stock situation after purchase:

If the stock shortage is confirmed before the order has been shipped, the customer will be contacted immediately and may choose either to exchange the product for another of similar value or to receive a full refund of the amount paid.

If you receive an order with one or more missing items, you must report it within 14 days. A refund or exchange will be arranged, as applicable.
5. Consumer Rights
This policy complies with current legislation in Portugal and the European Union.
Exercising your right of return does not affect any other legal rights you may have as a consumer. We guarantee that all products shipped are checked to meet our high quality standards.
